What is big different between boss dd3 taiwan (recent) and boss dd2 or dd3 japan early edition ?

the history:

First Compact-stompbox Digital Delay pedal was made in 1983, and we called it Boss Digital Delay DD2 Made in Japan (MIJ) with green and Blue Lable. It was manucfatured by Roland that very well-known as effects pedal factory who produce hig end digital delay rack such Roland SDE-2000 or SDE-3000 (used by Yngwie, Malmsteen, David Gilmour, The Edge,etc)

Large Memory Chip (MC) that was used in SDE3000 at the time was very expensive. And the same chip was used by boss DD2 (user David Gimour, Pete Cornish,Joe Sat, etc), and it made boss DD2 was expensive too. DD2 can delivers an "awesome" tone delay , similar like a warm sound delay that delivers by high end delay rack.

Caused the priced was very expensive, in 1983 boss decided to produce a new product, Boss DD3 (blue lable-made in Japan, blue lable made in Taiwan, pink/dark grey-made in taiwan) , but used different MC that cheaper than before. This MC(memory chip) is smaller then first MC , and had square shape.. the old one had rectangular shape. But in early transition periode (1986) some new boss DD3 japan still used a large MC (old one MC) (may be jut for used up the left old MC). It means not all dd3 japan used old MC (large ones), just DD3 in early 1986.

The new DD3 (used small square chip) produce a thin and bright repeat tone, buat DD2 and DD3 early edition can deliver a rich and warm repeat tone and didn't color a guitar tone so much.

MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay

This is a great analog delay from mxr.. i bought it last month.. and based of my experience (i used another analog delay pedal in past such DLA ), it's the best analog delay pedal in his range..
it can delivers a rich and warm analog delay tone, and very easy to used.

It had 3 knob: Delay Time, Mix (dry/wet blend), and Regeneration (delay repeats)
If u set the regen knob full, and after it ,spin time knob, i will delivers "UFO" or "DJ" sound ..
And it had top-mounted modulation switch.. so it make this pedal can produce another kind sound of delay..such a subtle vibrato and give an another dimension for the tone that deliver..
and it had 2 internal trim pots for user-adjustable width and rate control.

Carbon copy is the first MXR delay pedal in nearly 20 years that offers 600 ms of analog delay in a compact unit size. The man behind this amazing pedal is Bob Cedro, MXR senior engginer.

today i want to share my first guitar effect that i bought..
i still remember my first pedal efek.. it's multieffect from korg..
ax3000g..

acctually ax3000g is good enough for the beginner...
it's prety easy to used.. have so many features ..
one that make me interisiting is this effect can produce arpeggio tone just by picking one tone. For example..
if you pick string in G, then ax3000G will produce tone arpeggio from that tone .. hahaha..very funny.. this effect will make user lazy to learn and practice arpeggio technique lol..

for me , ax3000g is pretty enough, but unhappily i didn't like the drive sound that produce by this efek.. i still remember, i tried to found a distortion sound that i want, until i gave up hahaha..
it's make me decide to sell this effect after 4 months i used it... hahaha.. ( after it i decided to bought pod floor plus.. i will share my experience when i used pod floor plus in next posting :) :) )

hello all.. today i want share my last rig guitar effects..
now, my efek chain are like this:

Guitar-->tubeman-->revolt thruth togus (Send:--> BB xotic preamp--> MXR carbon copy analog delay--->Return) --> Out 1--> Ampli || Out 2--> Amp || Out 3--> korg pitchblack tunner



and some times i change to be more simple like this:

guitar --> Korg pitch black tunner---> bb Preamp xotic--> HK tubeman--> MXR carbon analog delay--> amp



next i will share my review about my pedal , recent or past..
